How To Prepare For HSSC Patwari Exam?



In India, every aspirant wants to grab a job in Government Sector. It is because it offers job security, good salary and honorable social status. In Land Record Department, Panchkula, Haryana, Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has invited applications for recruitment of 588 Patwari Posts. The interested applicants can apply for these posts online from 14th June 2019. The competitive exam is tentatively scheduled from 3th July 2019 to 18th August 2019. The candidates will give the information of date and time of examination with their admit card.
The post of Patwari is of great social as well as political importance as he is the Government Official who holds charge of land recording in particular “tehsil” or region of a particular district. It implies that no purchase or sale of land is possible without his consent or supervision. In the revenue department, he is the lowest grade officer. 
Patwari is also responsible for maintaining the records of its tillers, share-croppers and entire history of land transfers. He has no fixed working hours and jurisdiction can exceeds 10,000 acres of land. Therefore, he is supposed to be vigilant on his area and all the related activities on it.
According to official notifications by HSSC, there are around 588 vacancies for Patwari posts and the age limit of candidates has to be from 17 years to 42 years. The pay scale of HSSC Patwari is from Rs 5200- Rs 20200 plus Rs 2400 G.P. The minimum educational qualification for HSSC Patwari is graduate or its equivalent examination from any recognized University. The candidates should have studied Hindi/Sanskrit/Urdu up to matriculation as one of the subject or higher education.

Exam Pattern Haryana Patwari 2019

The exam pattern of Haryana Patwari is based on the following steps:


Written exam - 90 marks
Social Economy Criteria and Experience- 10 marks

Written Examination Structure HSSC Patwari:

The written exam which is of 90 marks can be further divided into: -
a) 75% of marks will be for questions related to General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, Science, Computer, English, Hindi and concerned or relevant subject, as applicable.
b) 25% of marks will be for questions related to History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana.

1. Recognize the syllabus and exam pattern

The first basic step to crack any competitive exam is to understand its syllabus and exam pattern. It is because it helps in knowing all the topics of the syllabus properly. The candidates should also understand exam pattern properly so that they can prepare important topics properly.

2. Track and work out previous year question papers

To understand the pattern of question paper, the students should try to follow and solve previous year question papers. It will be beneficial to them in many ways. Firstly, they can prioritize importance topics and can prepare them thoroughly. Secondly, they can easily understand the distribution of marks topic-wise and this will make them more vigilant and aware about important topics. Thirdly, they can correlate with the language as well as difficulty level of questions in the exam. It will give you rough idea of the question paper and will help you in your exam preparation.

3. Plan an approach

After understanding the syllabus and exam pattern, the next most important step is to plan a strategy for your exam. You are advised to make a time-table where you can cover all the important topics on daily basis.
